CCTV DRAIN SURVEYS
ACROSS ALTRINCHAM

IDENTIFYING THE ROOT CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM, NOT JUST THE SYMPTOM

CCTV Drain Survey

What is a

Drain Survey?

Specialised CCTV equipment is sent into the drain to provide live feedback to the drainage specialist, whereby they are able asses in real-time the condition of the drain, and accurately judge any required actions needed to bring the drains back up to full working order.

Using CCTV is a low-invasive method of checking your drains, meaning:

  • We have seen the issues before working on your drains so we know the correct course of action to take.

  • Minimal digging at the property as we have accurately located where the problem is.

  • Accurate quotes with no surprises as we have seen the condition of the drains before any digging commences

When should I have a

Drain Survey?

There are several situations where you will want to arrange a drain survey even if there is no noticeable problem:

  • As part of a Home buyers report to make sure the drains are checked with no problems you should be aware of before deciding to buy the property

  • When planning any construction work on a property, from extensions to drive replacements. Knowing where the drains are on the property is important to make sure work does not damage them and that post completion they are still accessible.

  • Every 12 months to catch issues before they turn into a problem.

The Problem

You may have already had someone work on the drains once or multiple times, but they keep becoming blocked. This would suggest any action taken to unblock them previously has been ineffective, which could be either due to the incorrect course of action, or the extent of the issue not found in full.

The Solution

Where drains are becoming blocked regularly, a CCTV drainage survey is the best course of action to fully understand what is wrong.

Issues can range from, a build-up of waste to a collapsed drain. Different causes require different solutions to rectify, identifying the cause is what the survey is for.
